| How the Web of Introducers is implemented. The Web of Introducers is established through reciprocal trust signing between GSIntroducers. GSIntroducers must issue Level 1 Trust Signatures to each other, and issue a Level 2 Trust Signature to the GSWoT Root Key. Generally, GSIntroducers will not have met each other in person and so must issue Type 0x12 (Casual (sig-2)) Certification Signatures that convey Level 1 Trust (trust to a depth of one). Although our Certification Policy suggests GSIntroducer signatures be treated as Marginal, signatures must be issued with Full trust to accommodate the lack of support for weighted trust across applications. |
